National Publicly-Traded Hazardous Waste TSDF Owner

Project: Planning and execution of a 1.6 MW capacity Solar PV "direct install" project at client owned hazardous waste landfill, as initial test project for multi-site, multi-state client portfolio of candidate solar sites.

Scope of work: Included strategic planning, due diligence & financial modeling – followed by administration of a private competitive bidding process for the procurement & installation of optimal technologies through our heavily vetted engineering procurment and contruction (EPC) contractor pool (including ongoing project oversight).

Nationally Prominent Hazardous Waste Clean-up Contractor

Project: Evaluation of the technical, legal and financial feasibility of siting a solar PV facility on a client-operated hazardous waste landfill, as the first in a potential series of candidate client sites.

Scope of work: Included site visit, technical assessment, legal assessment and financial modeling – followed by an up-dated assessment triggered by late-breaking changes in state solar program incentives.

National Aviation Industry Trade Association

Project: In-depth foundational analysis defining the range of objectives and means available for the cost-effective management by the association and its individual members of financial risks presented by regulation of greenhouse gases, including direct-install or third-party financed solar facilities to generate offsets or reduce carbon footprints. The Association represents a potential pipeline of projects for airports and/or individual member airlines, several of which it has introduced to us.

Scope of work: Included (a) definition and assessment of the feasibility of specific "service modules" to be supported or administered by the association, and (b) the design of an eventual request for proposal (RFP) process.

Major Airport Owner and Operator

Project: Evaluation of the near-term Renewable Energy ("RE") development opportunities at a client-operated commercial airport representing the first in a potential portfolio of rooftop or ground-mounted projects at client sites.

Scope of work: Included a) assessment of the feasibility of a pending 3rd party proposal for Utility Scale solar PV generation on airport owned land; b) assessment of the feasibility of various RE technologies; c) conceptual planning of a Distributed Generation solar PV facility to offset airport usage of grid-supplied power; and (d) conceptual planning for an eventual public procurement strategy and schedule.
